Shift, Don’t Stretch

In this lesson I show you how to avoid one of the most common mistakes I see my students make. That’s stretching the fingers instead of shifting when moving between notes. This may seem an easy mistake to fix but there are a few contexts where the shift is harder to spot than you may think. Playing without addressing this issue can seriously effect your tuning so I explain exactly what the problem is and how to put it right.
