Gifting a course FAQs

Select the perfect course or Masterclass in our Courses Library, click on the ‘Gift a Course’ option. Enter your own email address and payment details to buy the course.
After the purchase has been confirmed, we’ll send you an email with a form to fill in with your name, and the email address and the name of your recipient. Then, we will email you a personalised gift certificate with a one-off coupon code to send to your recipient, and they use that to sign up for the course.
We only offer gift certificates for specific courses at this time, so you must select a course to gift. If you find out your recipient is already enrolled on that course after purchase, please email us.
We do not offer a physical gift certificate. Instead, we will email you a PDF gift certificate with the name of the course, coupon code, and the giftee’s name. It is your responsibility to give this to your giftee, either via email or by printing it out.
As with all course purchases, you can have a full refund of your gift certificate purchase within 30 days of your purchase. Please bear this in mind if you plan to buy your gift more than 30 days in advance of giving, as purchases are non-refundable after 30 days.
Please allow two working days for us to process and produce your personalised gift certificate. Please note, we work Monday - Friday 9am-5pm (GMT). If you are in urgent need of your certificate, please let us know and we will process it as soon as possible within these working hours.
If you want to gift a course to someone else that you have already enrolled on yourself the system will not let you purchase it, so please email us and we will help you do that.

Redeeming a gift FAQs

To redeem a gift, find the course you were gifted in our Course Library, and click the ‘Enrol in Course’ button, choosing the ‘enrol on this course’ option. At the checkout in the order summary, enter your one-off coupon code from your gift certificate to enrol on the course for free. You will be asked to log into your account or create an account if you don’t already have one.
Once you have clicked ‘enrol’ on the course you have been gifted, click on the blue box titled ‘Add Coupon Code’ and enter your unique coupon code in the box. Your 100% discount will then be applied.

If you are already enrolled on the course you were gifted, please email us at support@discoverdoublebass.com as soon as possible.
We offer a 30-day full refund policy on all our courses from the day of purchase, so please note if you signup for your gifted course some time after the purchase day, you may have less time to return your course. Please email us to request a refund within 30 days.
