Double Bass Stool Review

The Best Double Bass Stool?

In this video I review three double bass stools. I’ve spent years searching for the perfect stool and each of these are worth considering. However there are a lot of factors to bear in mind such as do they have a foot rest, are they the right height, are they adjustable, do they fold up and are they lightweight?

It’s really important to be comfortable when playing, so make sure you have all the information you need to choose a stool that’s the best fit for your needs.

Here are the brands I mention in the video:

K&M – Performance Stool
Lemur Music – Light Weight Folding Performance Stool
Amadeus – Opus Standard Bass Stool
Xeros – Endpin Anchor

As you can probably tell I’m a bit of a double bass gear nerd! I’m always on the look out for new equipment, so if you have a stool that you would recommend please join the conversation in the comments section below.

Cheers Geoff
