How to End Your Solos - Featuring the Danny Ziemann Trio

In his first lesson for Discover Double Bass, Danny Ziemann shows us how to communicate clearly to our band mates that the bass solo is ending. He demonstrates two simple methods you can use to help keep your band on the right path, sound professional and avoid any confusion.

I hope you enjoy the video and will welcome Danny in the comments section below. Special thanks to our stellar musicians,  Jamil Sheriff on piano and Caroline Boaden on the drums, the recording studio and our film crew for their superb work!

► Full transcriptions of the solos in this lesson are free to download here: ► 'The Bass Players' Guide to the Trio' is due out on 24th April. It's a step-by-step course with 50 lesson featuring a live band. Subscribe for updates.
