Brazilian Hat Trick by John Goldsby - Analysis and Performance

In this lesson, John Goldsby teaches his original composition Brazilian Hat Trick. Originally recorded on his 2001 album Viewpoint, it features a bossa style groove in 3/2, some tasty bass playing and an outstanding solo! John is joined in the studio by pianist Jamil Sheriff and drummer Caroline Boaden.

This is a preview lesson from John’s new course ‘Jazz Bass Vol.2: Stretching Out’. Many of the lessons feature a live band, detailed transcriptions and play-along tracks. It's all of the good stuff which has transformed his students playing, and it can do the same for you too!
