Lloyd Goldstein on connection through music

In our latest video, I meet the incredible bassist, composer and Certified Music Practitioner Lloyd Goldstein. Filmed at the 2023 International Society of Bassist convention at the University of Michigan, I found Lloyd testing out a new bow and couldn’t resist the chance to listen to him perform and discuss his approach to music. Our conversation covers his relationship with François Rabbath, his work as a Certified Music Practitioner at a major cancer hospital, and more.
At the start of the video, you will hear an excerpt of ‘Samir’ by François Rabbath, and at the end of the video you’ll hear a performance of Lloyd’s original composition, ‘Breath of Trees’.
