Muted, Percussive Notes Tutorial 

This double bass lesson is on ‘ghost notes’ and ‘slapped notes’. I show you how to use them in your playing to make it groove! They are a great way to embellish and add interest to your bass lines, without adding new or different notes. Using them well can add a bit of life to your playing as well as a sense of momentum. However using them the wrong way can be really distracting and ruin your line. In this lesson I show you how to add muted and slapped notes to your playing, the right way.
