Interview with Missy Raines - The First Lady of Bluegrass Bass
In this interview, I meet a pillar of the Nashville music scene and GRAMMY® nominated bassist, Missy Raines. Known for her superb bass playing and as a band leader and songwriter, we discuss Missy's career, upright bass influences, her stunning Kay bass, favourite equipment and much more.
This interview was filmed as part of my 2021 trip to Nashville and I couldn't let the opportunity pass to meet one of my bass heroes. If you want to learn about Missy Raines and the Nashville upright bass scene, check it out! Big thanks to Missy for sharing so much and we hope you enjoy it.
